On the initial packet sequence, there is a timer called Retransmission Timeout (RTO) that has an initial value of three seconds. The majority of us are well aware of the primary retransmission logic. Thus, to ensure the packet is received, the sender will retransmit the packet to the other party. Easy to understand, right? But what happens when a packet is lost?
